The walk from the parking lot is less than 200 meters. Note that during the winter there can be snow and ice on the path, so please wear good shoes and walk carefully.
You need to bring your bathing suit and towel. We do offer towel rentals for an additional 1000 ISK. Water shoes can be useful but are not essential. If the weather is cold and windy, a hat that covers your ears can also be a good idea.
Yes, we have recently added two small huts close to the pool. Each hut is equipped with hangers and baskets. Please note that there are no lockers. Additionally, there is a service house located next to the parking lot offering restrooms.
Yes, there is a time limit of 90 minutes. This helps ensure that more guests can enjoy the experience and prevents overcrowding.
Sorry, we are still a bit old-fashioned and do not have a booking system. It is first come, first served. We have around 25-30 available spots, and with the 90-minute time limit, things flow smoothly. If many people arrive at the same time, there may be a small queue, but that doesn't happen very often.
We accept most common payment cards as well as cash (ISK).
Yes, but we ask that children under 11 be accompanied by an adult. We also like to point out for all visitors that the stones in and around the pool can be very slippery. Therefore no running or climbing in this area.
Yes, but please keep in mind that our space is limited. We recommend that you give us a call in the morning on the same day of your visit. Please provide us with information regarding your expected arrival time and the number of guests in your group and we will try our best to have available spots.
Drones are not allowed. We want to respect our guests privacy in a relaxing and peaceful environment.
We kindly ask our guests not to take their dogs with them to the area surrounding the pool. The reason for this is simply because many people are afraid of dogs, and we don’t want it to spoil the experience of visiting the place.
Yes, it is allowed, however we do not allow beverages in glass containers or any other glass items.
No, it is strictly forbidden to enter the area when the pool is closed. The area has an alarm system and is being monitored. Those who do not follow this rule are asked to leave the area immediately and made to pay a private opening fee of 50.000 (ISK).
